[발언] 세계 여성의 날, 반제국주의 침략 전쟁에 반대하는 노동자 민중의 국제연대 투쟁이 필요합니다
118주년 3.8 세계여성의날 울산여성대회와 함께, 팔레스타인 평화를 위한 울산 51차 긴급행동이 진행되었다. 민주노총 울산지역본부, 금속노조 울산지부, 현대글로비스 울산지회, 이수기업 해고자 동지들, 진보당, 노동자혁명당(준), 사회주의를향한전진 등 여러 동지들이 집회에 참여했다. 특히 민주노총 울산지역본부에서 미국과 이스라엘의 이란 침공을 규탄하는 현수막을 준비해 선전전이 빛을 발했다.
울산여성대회 내내 ‘팔레스타인 평화를 위한 울산긴급행동’ 참가단위들은 현수막과 피켓을 들고 이스라엘의 가자지구 집단학살, 미국과 이스라엘의 이란 침략과 학살을 규탄하는 캠페인을 진행했다.
또한 ‘팔레스타인 평화를 위한 울산긴급행동’을 대표해, 현대글로비스 울산지회 김미옥 지회장이 미국과 이스라엘의 제국주의 전쟁 규탄, 이스라엘 집단학살에 공모하는 한국 대자본과 이재명 정부를 규탄하는 발언을 했다. 이후 행진까지 함께하며, 팔레스타인 평화를 위한 울산 51차 긴급행동을 마쳤다.

오늘 118주년 세계여성의날을 맞아 울산여성대회에 참가하신 여러분! 현대글로비스 울산지회 지회장 김미옥입니다.
제가 지회 간부들과 함께 팔레스타인 평화를 위한 울산 긴급행동 선전전에 꾸준히 함께하였기에, 오늘 여러분 앞에 서게 된 것 같습니다.
여러분! “좋은 나무 초등학교”를 들어보셨습니까? “좋은 나무 초등학교”, 얼마나 멋지고 예쁜 이름입니까? 저는 미국과 이스라엘이 이란을 침공하면서 알게 되었습니다.
“좋은 나무 초등학교”는 이란 미나브 지역에 있는 학교입니다. 미나브 지역에는 여성과 남성 초등학교가 하나씩 있다는데, 그중에 “좋은 나무 초등학교”는 여성 어린이가 다니는 학교랍니다.
미국 트럼프와 이스라엘 네타냐후가 “좋은 나무 초등학교”를 두 번 연속 폭격하여 168명을 학살했습니다. 12세 이하 이란 어린이들은 한국 어린이와 친구가 되어 더 아름다운 세상과 미래를 꿈꾸며 만들어 갈 인류의 소중한 보물이라고 생각합니다.
저는 전쟁과 피에 굶주린 야수와 같은, 미국과 이스라엘의 제국주의 침공과 민간인 학살을 강력히 규탄합니다. 또한 제국주의 미국과 이스라엘의 참혹한 패배와 이란 노동 민중의 승리를 간절히 간절히 바랍니다. 여러분들도 동의하십니까?
미국과 이스라엘은 팔레스타인 가자지구에서도 집단학살을 계속하고 있습니다. 이스라엘은 미국의 지원 아래 가자지구를 침공해서 약 80% 지역을 폐허로 만들었습니다. 2023년 10월 7일 이후, 이스라엘과 미국은 가자지구 8만여 명을 학살했으며, 20만 명을 다치게 했습니다. 이스라엘이 학살한 8만여 명 중에 약 70%가 어린이, 여성, 고령자들입니다. 이스라엘은 2025년 10월 휴전이 시행된 이후에도 가자지구 60% 지역을 점령한 상태에서 500명 넘게 학살했습니다. 또한 식료품과 의료품 등 생존을 위한 물품 차량을 봉쇄하며 가자지구 주민들을 고통과 죽음으로 내몰고 있습니다.
이스라엘의 집단학살을 강력히 규탄하며, 이스라엘 군대는 가자지구 즉각 철수해야 합니다. 여러분들도 동의하십니까?
한국은 이미 다양한 형태로 전쟁과 집단학살에 깊숙이 개입해 있습니다. 한국 한화그룹의 무기 수출, 한국석유공사의 가자지구 해역 천연가스 수탈, 현대건설기계의 굴착기 수출 등 대자본이 이스라엘 집단학살에 공모하고 있습니다.
이재명 정부는 트럼프의 평화위원회 참여를 검토하고 있습니다. 트럼프는 가자지구 평화위원회에서 ‘가자’라는 말은 삭제했습니다. 평화위원회는 가자지구를 영원히 식민 통치하는 기구임이 분명해지고 있습니다. 이재명 정부가 아무리 외교적 언사라도 전쟁광 트럼프의 평화 노력을 지지한다고 발표하는 게 말이 됩니까?
민주노총은 어제 성명에서 ‘한국 정부는 미국의 패권 전략에 부화뇌동하며 한국을 전쟁의 발진기지로 내어주는 모든 행위를 즉각 중단해야 하며, 미국의 침략 전쟁에 어떠한 협조나 방조해서는 안 된다’라는 점을 분명히 밝혔습니다.
제국주의 침략 전쟁에 다양한 형태로 관여하고 있는 상황에서 한반도와 동아시아의 평화가 과연 가능한 일입니까?
한국을 비롯해 세계 노동자 민중이 우크라이나 전쟁을 멈추지 못했기에, 팔레스타인 가자지구의 집단학살이 계속되고 있으며, 가자지구 집단학살을 멈추지 못했기에 이란 전쟁과 학살로 이어지고 있는 것입니다.
제국주의 침략 전쟁은 자본가들에게는 이윤을 축적하는 기회이지만, 어린이, 여성, 장애인, 고령자에게는 재앙입니다.
118주년 세계여성의날을 맞아 우리에게 필요한 것은, 반제국주의 침략 전쟁에 반대하는 노동자 민중의 국제연대 투쟁입니다.
우리 다 같이 힘차게 외쳐보겠습니다!

Today, on the 118th anniversary of International Women’s Day, I would like to welcome everyone participating in the Ulsan Women’s Rally. I am the leader of the Ulsan branch of Hyundai Glovis within the Korean Metal Workers Union, Kim Mi-ok. Nice to meet you.
I believe I am standing before you today because I have consistently participated in the “Emergency Action for Peace in Palestine” campaign alongside the branch executives.
Have you ever heard of “Sacred Tree Elementary School”? Isn’t it a really beautiful name? I learned about it when the United States and Israel invaded Iran this time. Shajareh Tayyebeh (“Sacred Tree”) Elementary School is located in the Minab region of Iran. In Minab, there is one elementary school for girls and one for boys, and Sacred Tree Elementary School is the one attended by girls. The U.S. administration under Trump and the Israeli government led by Netanyahu bombed Sacred Tree Elementary School twice in a row, killing 168 people. I believe that children in Iran under the age of 12 are precious treasures of humanity who will grow up to become friends with Korean children and help create a more beautiful world and future. I strongly condemn the imperialist invasion and civilian massacres carried out by the United States and Israel, which behave like beasts starving for war and blood. I sincerely hope for the defeat of imperialist U.S. and Israeli aggression and for the victory of the Iranian working people. Do you all agree? (Yes)
The United States and Israel continue to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip of Palestine. With U.S. support, Israel invaded Gaza and turned about 80% of the area into ruins. Since October 7, 2023, Israel and the United States have killed at least 80,000 people in Gaza and injured at least 200,000. Of those killed, about 70% are children, women, and the elderly. Since the ceasefire implemented in October 2025, Israel has occupied 60% of the Gaza Strip and has killed more than 500 people. They are also blocking aid vehicles carrying essential supplies such as food and medical goods, pushing Gaza residents into suffering and death. We strongly condemn Israel’s actions, and the Israeli military must withdraw immediately from the Gaza Strip. Do you all agree? (Yes)
Korea is already deeply involved in wars and genocides in various forms. Hanwha Group’s arms exports, the Korea National Oil Corporation’s natural gas extraction in the Gaza Strip, and Hyundai Construction Equipment’s excavator exports are all contributing to Israel’s actions. The Lee Jae-myeong government is reportedly considering participation in Trump’s “peace board,” which is becoming an organization for the permanent colonial rule of the Gaza Strip. Does it make sense for the Lee Jae-myeong government to announce support for the peace efforts of Trump, who is widely criticized as a warmonger, no matter how diplomatic the language may be? The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions stated yesterday that “the Korean government must immediately cease all actions that align with the U.S. hegemonic strategy and turn Korea into a launchpad for war,” and that "it must not provide any cooperation or connivance to the U.S. invasion."
While Korea is involved in imperialist wars in various forms, can peace on the Korean Peninsula and in East Asia truly be possible? Because workers and people around the world, including in Korea, have not been able to stop the war in Ukraine, it has led to the genocide in Palestine and Gaza, and because we have not been able to stop the genocide in Gaza, it is now leading to war and slaughter in Iran. Imperialist wars are opportunities for capitalists to accumulate profits, but they are disasters for children, women, the disabled, and the elderly.
On the occasion of the 118th International Women’s Day, what we need is the international solidarity struggle of working people against imperialist wars. Let’s all shout together. Please repeat the final lines:
“The Lee Jae-myeong government must immediately enact a comprehensive anti-discrimination law!”
“Israel must withdraw from the Gaza Strip right now!”
“The United States and Israel must immediately stop their imperialist wars!”
